Roving Reporter : KangSt

Jade Kang showed for the first time at Fashion Week this season. We sneaked from third to first row (in fact I am on the video!)
The show was excellent. Kang is obviously a very competent pattern cutter. There were some incredible draped front dresses in velvet, silk and leather that were extremely chic and grown up.
The other fabric that made us gasp was a knitted gauze fabric that was incredible fine and reminded me of fine metal armour.
The colour palette was a mix of dark green, raspberry, black and cream that was incredibly rich and wintery.
The use of leather with velvet and silk was ingenious and soft and subtle leather moulded beautifully into one.
I was really impressed, but with a CV that includes Saunders and McQueen he had something to live up to.
Bring on S/S!

Note: Goodie bags! Yay, first goodie bag of the week included a Blush 'Throb' by Benefit and some M Label hair products, LOVE! :-)
