Roving Reporter . . . The Fashion Show . . . RESULTS
This was the final installment of THE FASHION SHOW!
There were trips down memory lane . . . Funniest moment was watching a series of clips between Issac Mizrahi and Merlin, with Kelly Rowland translating as Issca just couldn't understand Merlin's accent!
The judges choice was announced . . . Daniella Kallmeyer . . . winning $10,000 with Glenda Bailey of Harpers Bazaar promising to introduce her to some designers to work with.
The overall winner though was Anna with 56% of the vote, winning $125,000.
It was a fabulous series and the final three much deserved their places. Anna was a worthy winner, as Daniella's talent wa evident and her youth and exposure through this show will ensure she will go from strength to strength.
Lets close the chapter on this Fashion Show and await the next.

Roving Reporter . . . Press Days and Goodie Bags
It was my first day off in ages and I fancied a mixture of me time and work, so the perfect solution was to head out to some press exclusive events.
I then got a slot with the 'Brains' who created the range, who spent time talking me through the 'Free Radicals' that live in my skin and how best to fight them. I spent quite a time wondering how it all worked and desperately tried to follow the process, but the bottom line was that the new Berry Power range is both deliciously smelling and will make your young skin gorgeous and beautiful. I was sold on the facial scrub, that was a cross between a jam and a milk wash, with little exfoliating bits in it.
Post talk I had my skin accessed by an expert, who wrote out a new skin care regime for me, followed by a beautiful hand massage and a look at the Christmas box sets.
It was evidently the day of the beauty PR's as I went to Miller Harris. Famous for its traditional scents, grown up, incense candles and tea essence.
Putting together the new lifestyle section in Random Magazine is my current project, so I'm constantly on the lookout for fabulous goodies to suggest to our readers.
My first stop was Neals Yard Press Event at the Future Gallery. I arrived promptly and not wanting to be the first in I hung back for a bit. When I arrived I was met by a horde of PR girls, who ushered me in to the serene gallery space. Dimmed lights, beautiful aromas and calming sounds greeted me. I was handed a Powerful Berry Smoothie, which was both delicious and healthy - what a combination!

The event was held at their Bruton Street store and the candles and fragrance released a delicious smell into the room. I was talked through the regular ranges and the Christmas sets, as well as a history of the brand and was even more delighted by my goodie bag of candles, large and small! Perfect present for a girl in need of some relaxation.

Roving Reporter . . . The Fashion Show 11
OMG this is too exciting!
Well now the judges offer their two cents . . .
Poor Anna was slated for having a disjointed collection, while . . .
Daniella was praised for her sexy, androgynous collection but then again called a size-ist as she had the skinniest girls and even her leather pants were baggy!
Reco was told off by Fern for not giving the detail he had shown in earlier shows but congratulated on finally doing research! In fact it was Reco who got the judges arguing! Editor of Harpers told him his wedding dress was not good and way too theatrical, poor bloke got a rinsing!
JP was knocked for his last jacket and for his complicated looks, 'you need an instruction card to wear it!' But praised for being a consistency arty designer.
I love, love, love listening to them argue! Daniella is so London in her style and Issac praised her for having newness in her collection. Reco, JP and Anna all caused such hot debate, who doesn't like hearing people disagree!
Reco did not make the final 3, I'm pretty shocked, but actually his collection was to dramatic and wedding dressy for the runway!
It is now up to the American Public to choose the winner of THE FASHION SHOW!
Who will win?!!! I CAN'T WAIT!
Finally after 11 weeks the finale is here! The final fab four have had 10 weeks to create a collection of 10 pieces with the winner getting $125,000 and a selection of the collection sold on Bravotv.com.
Weirdly one contestant will be eliminated after the fashion show and wont face the public vote, which seams totally cruel! But that is what I have come to expect from Issac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland's show!
The first part was drama, drama, drama! With Reco's dresses being too tight and as usual his collection was OTT and costume like where as Daniella Kallmeyer and Anna did beautiful, luxury, wearable pieces. JP in my mind is in a world of his own. I don't see the creativity, I think he is just so up himself! All this 'I'm a designer, no one gets me' (boo hoo hoo!)
Anna's was the most commercial of the four, but I felt it was all a bit dowdy and frumpy and it all just felt like she re-made everything from the show in a new set of fabrics. Though there were some stand out pieces towards the end of it.
Daniella's rocked, as she made her accessories and her runway music! Im still humming it to myself! And as a frequent runway watcher, music can be a huge decider on the mood.

Roving Reporter . . . The Fashion Show On Bravo . . . Angel talks to W Mag
Angel was slated by Jonny in the latest episode of The Fashion Show as deliberately sabotaging him!
Here on the Link Below, W Magazine get to the bottom of this claim!
Fav part of the interview is finding out that presenters Issac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland didn't chat to contestants off camera. They have been terrible presenters, mentors or any other kind of contributor to the show. I much prefer Ben de Lisi and his words of wisdom on our UK Project Catwalk! Help not hinder! I wont miss Issac Mizrahi squinting and shaking his head in disapproval just to unnerve the designers!

Roving Reporter . . . The Fashion Show Week 10
It was all about drapery and evening wear. This really put the designers through their paces so this was one of the best runways.
To help the designers through this week they got help from an ex 'show mate'. With some of the lively characters such as . . . Reco, Haven, Angel, Andrew and Keith came back to face those who knocked them out!
This week bitching was at a high as everyone was desperate for a place in the final four.
This weeks Fashion Show was so tense, they had just 15 hours to make a beautiful and fashionable evening dress.
I loved Daniella's steel grey dress and the use of the Swarovski crystals around the interesting shoulder strap was outstanding. Anna was so brave to use floral but it totally paid off!
The bottom two unsurprisingly held Jonny and JP . . . while JP's was just hideous, Jonny knocked off a Lanvin (or as he would say 'it's just very similar'. He pretended not to realise he had done and subsequently blamed his helper Angel, but the truth of the matter was that he isn't a great designer, especially not for beautiful evening wear.
The best moment was when Jonny got found out for stealing Lanvin's design . . . fav Fashion Show moment of all time!
They totally berated him . . . hilarious! Watch the moment of truth below . . .
This week guest judge was the Harper's Bazaar Editor in Chief (US edition) and guess what . . . She is a Brit chick!
As they debated what was worse . . . An ugly dress, which Issac Mizrahi says is the worst fashion crime . . . Or a total Lanvin rip off?
As it turns out Plagarism is worse! Bye Bye Jonny . . . Roll on the final!
Each designer has to make a collection! eeeeek! Daniella to win!

Roving Reporter . . . Catharina Eden @ BBB
Wednesday night saw me swan from shoot to party, this time heading into Fashion's spiritual home of Shoreditch! Felicities PR hosted a soiree to celebrate their latest showroom addition, which came in the form of Catharina Eden's beautiful and girly collection 'Jewelled Spine'.
Having spent the day shooting with photographer Dave Wise and BNTM winner Mercia, I found myself waiting for a rather late Editor in Chief of Random Magazine (Tomo Kembery). When we got to BBB, I caught up with my fav PR girl 'Heels' and her co PR starlets, before heading down into the basement room of Beach Blanket Babylon where the event was being held (BBB - for those kids in the know).
After one or two drinks, the lights dimmed, the music began and models circuited the room in floaty dresses, with delightful jewelled spines. The collection mixed structure with girlish prints and silk chiffon. Colours were fairly neutral, with navy and green accenting the angelic whites and creams. I especially loved the floral, water-colour styled, prints. So on trend but also just so exquisitely lovely. The other dress that caught my eye was a full length dresses, with a white skirt and a sparkly applique of a little person. Gorgeous, cute and delightful. Well worth dashing across London for!
Several drinks and catch ups later - (It's amazing how much changes in the world of fashion in such a short space of time) I made it outside for a bit of passive smoking, whilst still telling my self I was leaving.
We gossiped, bitched and generally dissected certain elements of fashion, when I eventually danced off into the night, some hour and a half after my first 'cheerio' - well that's fashion for you darling!
The horse - what was her name again Heels?
This horse has been living in the showroom and somehow made its way to BBB - I'm only gutted I didn't get to watch the lush PR chicks with their high heels and flowing blonde locks attempting to get this gigantic structure to the bar!

Roving Reporter . . . Britain's Next Top Model (Mercia) Shoot!
Yesterday saw me swan along to another shoot, this time 'mainly as a prop stylist' (used in its loosest format) for a shoot with the latest winner of Britain's Next Top Model (BNTM) Mercia!
Now as usual I took tones of pics on my blackberry, but I have to keep all those behind the scenes pics secret for now until the real live ones are published!
But here is the gossip:
* The theme of the shoot (still a secret) has been in the planning for the best part of a year and saw the outdoors move indoors and the rule of never working with animals or children, well and truly broken.
* The head pieces for the shoot were truly magnificent and create by the one and only . . . Louis Mariette, who was a judge on this years Britain's Next Top Model.
* Mercia had gorgeous skin in the flesh and was totally striking. She brought along her fiance to the shoot, to keep her company, but we all think he was pretty much bored to bits (though apparently he is 'used to it').
*The dress was a one off couture number, made specially for the shoot! While the shoes were provided by Giuseppe Zanotti.
*On the picture above, you can just about make out Mercia as she is being primped and preened by the hair stylist (Noel Gibbins) and Louis Mariettes, gorgeous, blonde assistants!
*Aside from her Company Magazine cover and the shoots on the show, this was one of Mercia's first proper modelling gigs!
xx That's all folks!

Roving Reporter . . . The Inbetweeners Shoot!
Today I rocked up to style Blake Harrison, who plays Neil in 'The Inbetweeners'. For the first time ever, nearly all my friends offered to carry bags and assist on a shoot, such is Inbetweeners fever!
If you've been living under a rock, then The Inbetweeners in currently being shown again on Channel 4 and if you don't find it funny, then quite frankly, you've evidently had a sense of humour bypass!
Blake was a total trooper and star and regaled us of tales on set (it takes 8 weeks to film & Blake thinks he is least like his character - I'd agree he isn't the least bit dopey in real life). Blake was definitely up for any wacky ideas we threw at him and the shoot saw him fit into armbands meant for a 2-6 year old, a rubber ring and he also found himself adorned with some rubber ducks and seduced by several models.
The clothing, a mixture of Paul and Joe, Topman, Puma, Hummel, Irregular Choice, Fenchurch and Beyond Retro Vintage gave Blake a totally new look and I think he looks fab, fab, fab! The full editorial and an interview with Blake will feature in October's issue of Random Magazine (www.random-magazine.com)
Oh and this is what happens when you challenge a Glamour Model to fit into a children's rubber ring! Needless to say she got stuck and we all nearly died with laughter!

Roving Reporter . . . Fash-Pack Fav Rocks at Wireless!
'LET'S GET EXCITED!'
Back in April, AFW appeared and like magic I found myself with a whole new load of young designers to work with. If you cast your mind back, you will remember that Bleu Flats and I raved about new talent NAJLAA JABRI and her pearly button leggings. Well it seems like the music world caught on as a very excited Alesha Dixon wore them for her performance at Wireless Festival at the weekend! How FAB!
Fash-Pack going to the ends of the earth to find you the best talent around!

Roving Reporter . . . The Fashion Show Week 9
OMG I have just finished watching this episode and I'm already desperate to see next weeks! I need it now!!!!
This week they had tarot card readings and had to use their reading and card as inspiration. This was task was pure and utter crap and saw Daniella create another boring, eighties stylee sheer shirt. Anna rocked the runway with her gorgeous print dress, while Jonny somehow escaped the bottow two with a childish look that was knocked up in vile lime and white tones.
Reco again was in the top two, although I still don't get his work, its boring, boring, boring!
Bottom two was Merlin and JP, a wise choice. JP so should've gone though, he has no idea what he is doing and could do with a few more years play before entering the big league. However it was Merlin that was shown the door.
Bye Bye Darling, we are just not buying it!
